In 2005 Union Products went out of business. However, the copyright and molds for the original Don Featherstone pink flamingo were purchased by HMC International LLC in Westmoreland, New York. There have been plans to begin manufacture again, but no product has yet appeared. Accept no substitutes. Go for the gusto. Do your duty and petition HMC International to begin production.

For the creation of the plastic pink flamingo, Don Featherstone has won the coveted Ig Nobel Prize.
