The Galaxy Diner in Flagstaff Arizona is located on historical Route 66 West.

The Galaxy Diner is an excellent example of nostalgia as we wished it was rather than nostalgia as it actually was. An absolute orgy of neon, diner stools, 50's upholstery, and square tiles, the Galaxy Diner looks far better than any actual diner from the era. The decor and friendly staff of the Galaxy Diner are an absolute road food pleasure.

The actual food at the Galaxy Diner is best summed up by an unsolicited comment from a tourist staying at a motel across the street: "The food is not as bad as I thought it would be."
