CLASS I -- INDICATING A STEADY RATE OF SPEED

Group I. General signification of terms is SLOW.

  • Larghissimo
  • Motto largo
  • Largo (broad, stately)

    • Grave (heavy, dragging)
  • Lento (slow)
    • Adagiassimo
  • Adagio (slow, tranquil)

Group II. General signification of terms is FAST.

  • Andante (moving, going along)
